I am very much into Halloween and pretty love pumpkin carving. Each year I try to top myself and come up with something cool and more complicated
The Bell pumpkin was done Halloween 2010
The Little Mermaid and the Disney logo was done this past year 2011. The my boyfriend's 3 year old little sister came up to me and asked it I could help her carve a mermaid and this is what we decided. I cut out the shapes and she pushed them out. It was done very quickly on a very tiny pumpkin so don't judge!
I'm really upset I didn't bother to get a good picture of my disney logo pumpkin. It was done on a beautiful white pumpkin (which SMELLS so bad I will not be using them again) with the castle and the name done in a relief and the W and the D completely cut out.
Pumpkin carving like this is pretty simple. Let me know if you want a tutorial
