This idea was "spur of the moment." Everything that I used for this project...I had on hand.

First I drew a dinosaur pattern onto cardstock...just in case I wanted to use it again later...and cut it out. I then traced the dino onto green felt twice. (I used two "dinos" because one was just too flimsy.) Cut it out...and then I hand stiched around it. Then I sewed a button on for his eye. I basically did the same thing for the purple felt. When I cut out the purple...I made it just a little bit bigger than the barrette. I then used a hot glue gun to attach the purple felt...and then attached the dino. Let it dry and then wear.
