You Will Need

  • How to create a mask face makeup look. Devilish Masquerade Inspired Make Up - Step 1
    Step 1

Use some micropore tape to help create that mask effect

  • How to create a mask face makeup look. Devilish Masquerade Inspired Make Up - Step 2
    Step 2

Paint your whole eye area with a colour of your choice. I would personally use a wash of a water based face paint as it will act more like the background to your makeup.. To go with the devilish aspect of this I’m using SNAZAROO IN RED

  • How to create a mask face makeup look. Devilish Masquerade Inspired Make Up - Step 3
    Step 3

I took a cream eyeshadow in a deep blue (ESTEE LAUDER SHADOW CRÈME IN BLUE VELVET) and applied all over the eye area, including underneath

  • How to create a mask face makeup look. Devilish Masquerade Inspired Make Up - Step 4
    Step 4

Use a soft brush (I’m using MAC 217) to blend and smooth out the edges of that shadow

    Step 5

To enhance that blue further – I used the wonder eyeshadow – ATLANTIC BLUE BY MAC, which is a brilliant Sonic the Hedgehog type blue. Dab this onto the lid.

    Step 6

For highlight I added a touch of the BARRY M DAZZLE DUST to my eyelid. I can’t remember the number, but it was the light turquoise one :)

  • How to create a mask face makeup look. Devilish Masquerade Inspired Make Up - Step 7
    Step 7

I took a black eyeshadow (BULLET PROOF BY SUGAR PILL) and used it to darken the out part of the blue make up

  • How to create a mask face makeup look. Devilish Masquerade Inspired Make Up - Step 8
    Step 8

I used a white liner (MAKE UP ATELIER PARIS) to highlight the inner corner of my eyes

  • How to create a mask face makeup look. Devilish Masquerade Inspired Make Up - Step 9
    Step 9

Take a black liner (cream of liquid) and just make something random up. :) I’m using CLINIQUE TRUE BLACK LINER

  • How to create a mask face makeup look. Devilish Masquerade Inspired Make Up - Step 10
    Step 10

I added a few more lines of the Make Up Atelier to the outer corners of my eyes. Plus I add some on the nose too, this was purely for me – as I hate my nose! :P

  • How to create a mask face makeup look. Devilish Masquerade Inspired Make Up - Step 11
    Step 11

Line your water line with a black eye kohl or pencil

  • How to create a mask face makeup look. Devilish Masquerade Inspired Make Up - Step 12
    Step 12

Add a few coats of mascara. You can add falsies if you wish – but I feel they may overshadow the make up so I skipped that part

  • How to create a mask face makeup look. Devilish Masquerade Inspired Make Up - Step 13
    Step 13

I took off my tape at this point.. Just because it was annoying me. You can take the tape off whenever. Add a little bit of a contour shade.. I’m using the SLEEK CONTOUR KIT. Concentrate more on the outer edge of your cheek bones.

  • How to create a mask face makeup look. Devilish Masquerade Inspired Make Up - Step 14
    Step 14

You can add anything on the lips. Personally because I want to enhance the mask part of this I blanked out my lips using a concealer stick

  • How to create a mask face makeup look. Devilish Masquerade Inspired Make Up - Step 15
    Step 15

Then just improvise and add little extras here and there… I added a menacing touch to my brows to make them look more devilish. ;) Et fini...
