  1. Step 1

    Step 1

Start off with two equal lumps of clay.

  2. Step 2

    Step 2

Mould the clay in to horn shapes. Don't worry too much about bumps and imperfections, as we'll cover them in a minute, just make sure to get the desired shape.

  3. Step 3

    Step 3

Make two holes in the base of the horn, one at the front and one at the back.

  4. Step 4

    Step 4

    Repeat for both horns.

  5. Step 5

    Step 5

Lay down a paper towel, or something to protect your work surface and place the horn on top. Take some paper glue and dribble it over the horns, making sure to cover the horn completely.

  6. Step 6

    Step 6

Stand the horns up in a tray, or something to catch the glitter, and sprinkle with glitter until the horns are completely covered. You may need to do a few coats.

  7. Step 7

    Step 7

When you are finished, spray the horns with adhesive or gloss to secure the glitter in place.

  8. Step 8

    Step 8

To make the fascinator, you will need a hat base with a comb on the bottom. You can make these yourself, or pick one up in a craft shop.

  9. Step 9

    Step 9

Punch holes through the front and back, at either side of the hat base, so that you have four holes. These should be about an inch in from the edge.

  10. Step 10

    Step 10

Cut four short lengths of red ribbon and tie each through the holes in the hat base and then through the holes of the horns. Knot well to secure in place.

  11. Step 11

    Step 11

The horns should sit nicely at either side of the hat base. Cut off any excess ribbon.

  12. Step 12

    Step 12

Next, take the feather boa and place the one end in the middle of the hat base, pull it through the front of the horns.

  13. Step 13

    Step 13

Wrap it around each horn, bringing it back in to the center and stitch in place. It should cover the hat base entirely, so that none of it is visible.

  14. Step 14

    Step 14

Take a small rectangle of millinery netting and twist in the middle, to create a bow.

  15. Step 15

    Step 15

Place in between the two horns, in the middle of the hat base and stitch in place.

  16. Step 16

    Step 16

Embellish by glueing a red gem on to the front center of the fascinator.

  17. Step 17

    Step 17

Wear with pride and a devilish smile.
