Great co-worker gifts, super cheap and super easy.
We all need an extra bit-o-glam at work. I came up with this idea about 5 years ago and gave them to all my co-workers for Christmas. (Yes, I even made some plain ones for the guys.)

They were a huge hit and I still have a few friends who have brought theirs back every few years when it breaks for a new one.

Cost? About .75 for the badges in bulk and buttons, broken earrings, plastic flowers or whatever else you want to use...(?)

  • How to make a pin badge. Designer Security Badge Decor (On A Dime!) - Step 1
    Step 1

The only thing not shown here is the glue. I used a hot glue gun. Rubber Cement is fine. Super glue if it's a flat button.

This button is concave so a thicker glue to fill in the gap was used.

Nip the back off the button so it lays flat.
