Trace out everything you want to put on to the shirt and carefully cut them out.

Arrange all of the pieces where you want them and pin them securely.
Make sure you don't pin both sides of the shirt together. -

If you want, you can use an embroidery hoop when sewing (if you're doing it by hand).
This helps keep the fabric nice and flat. -
