Quick and easy chunky shawl project.
The textured effect on this shawl is achieved by using 2 strands of chunky yarn knitted together on large knitting needles.
You will need to be able to do knit stitch, knit into the front and back of a stitch and cast off.

Step 2Cast off using only one of the threads. Secure and trim ends leaving at least 22cm, these will be incorporated
into the fringe. -
Step 3To make the fringe cut lengths of yarn about 35 cm long (a DVD case is useful for measuring for this purpose).

Step 4Using 5 lengths per tassel start at the back point and work evenly up each side.
Ensure that each tassel is pushed through and secured in the same direction for a neat finish.

Step 5Finally trim ends of the tassles evenly.
