this came out better than I thought! I got two shirts from Wally World (on sale - $3 each) got the biggest sizes I could find so I had enough to work with, and used another shirt I found in the rag bag for the black trim. I couldn't decide which buttons to use, so I used all the ones I was considering :P it took me a while, but I think the next one will go smoother since I have a better idea of what to do.
