Designer Shoe Box

I needed a little storage box in my cupboard, and had a few things lying around the house.

  1. Step 1

    Step 1

First of all, start off with a shoe box, and some decorative paper. I used Scrap booking paper which was a little heavy, a lighter weight paper would make this much easier.

  2. Step 2

    Step 2

Take one piece, and cut it down to fit on one side of the box with about half to one inch overlap.

  3. Step 3

    Step 3

Glue the paper down to the side, fold over the edges and glue down. Repeat for each side.

  4. Step 4

    Step 4

You can use cut outs from other pieces of paper, or any other type of embellishment, and decorated the box. Then coat the whole box with a layer of the mod podge.

Let dry, and Ta-Da! A box for Pop Tarts! (and all my other snack stuff)
