All of the measurements are approximate. I go through so much of lip balm, I thought I'd give it a whirl and save myself some money!!

Basically I just took a bunch of Hershey's chocolate kisses (left over from Valentine's day), and added a stick of Cocoa Butter, and several drops of Vitamin E oil from capsules. Melted them all in a small skillet on the stove, and poured it into small jars I saved (I love recycling things!). Refrigerated it, and let it cool. Viola :) My husband loves it---it's not perfect, and I know there are other balms out there that are better, but I like it :) I just used items I had already in the house!

Mmm this looks really tasty, I love Hershey's but you don't get them over here.

wow, thank you for your kind words :) I would have used syrup or cocoa powder (which you can use in place of the kisses), but I didn't find either of those until after I was already done! hehehe---oh well :) Keeps temptation out of the cupboard for me ;) Tame

chocolate kisses? hmmm, think of the chocolate drops one would receive in a package for Valentines' Day or in a cup as a small present! Small triangle with a pointed top :)

GREAT IDEA!
For those in the U.K. unfamiliar with the concept of the Hershey's Kiss, they are individually wrapped (in foil) pieces of milk chocolate. Think giant chocolate chips (or milk chocolate garden gnome hats). You could easily substitute with a few pieces of a Toblerone.
It's so much fun to translate from English to English! LOL!

WOW! Thanks so much for the great translation :) Of course, I didn't even bother to think that my language could be universal, lol! Sorry if I caused a bit of confusion---I wanted to take a picture of the bag, but my husband ate up the entire bag as soon as I got my few kisses into the pan! Thanks for the awesome comment :) Tame

Does this make it brown? I have tons of hot cocoa mix and would love to try it, but I'd rather not have brown lips!

I found the colour to be more of a light brown, not really dark at all---the chocolates were dark though, but that didn't transfer itself really to the overall colour, just the flavour. Hope that helps :) Tame
