Really easy, I took an old jumper that I found and cut it down the middle.

Then I did a zigzag stitch up to fold up the sides. I also folded the collar in so it looked more like a cardigan. Additionally I added some cute buttons to the sleeves, I was going to add buttons to close it but couldn't find my button hole thing, may do at a later date.
