I designed this illusion knitting pattern as a Christmas present for my boyfriend. It was my first pattern I designed and I am so happy with how it came out. Not only did he love it, but his friends and family all loved it....and no sweater curse. :)

Yes and no...I kept the pattern that I drafted, but, due to the serious time and effort involved, I am unwilling to share the pattern. Sorry.

I did a write up about it on crafster (http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=252020.msg2803879#msg2803879) that should guide you along the path. Be prepared to dedicate A LOT of time to this project...this took forever and it is huge. I would love to see what you come up with.
