Pissed off Akita Kills Curtains
 <  Image 1 of 3  >

Last week my son and I went out of town. Diesel my 8 month old Akita was supposed to be watched by my daughter. He doesn't like to be locked in the house, he wants needs must patrol his yard to be happy, but he also likes to come in when he wants so I leave my french door cracked. My daughter locked him in my bedroom and this is what happens when an Akita wants out and can't get out, he destroyed my very expensive custom curtains and tried to chew thru the door. Needless to say I was very mad at her! Then the next problem the longest curtains I could find were 84 inches long and I would of needed 4 panels to cover the doors, I wanted two panesl and they had to be 92 inches long. I also need blackout curtains I am a day sleeper. So no choice but to make them, I could not find fabric I could afford in the color and fabric I wanted so this was a compromise they are blackout lined. I needed, 18 yards and 24 grommets to make both panels. they cost me 45 to make as opposed to 370 in the fabric I really wanted. I am going to buy new bedding, paint and a different curtain rod. They serve the purpose.
