Here is a recipe for making 12 simple cupcakes.

  1. Step 1

    Step 1

    Sieve the flour, sugar and baking powder in to a bowl.

  2. Step 2

    Step 2

    Crack in the egg and beat together.


  3. Step 3

    Step 3

    Whisk in the milk.

  4. Step 4

    Step 4

    Place twelve cupcake cases in a muffin baking tin and separate the mixture between them equally. Cook in the oven for 15-20 minutes at 350ฐ. Decorate with glace icing, sprinkles and a cherry or use another of my cake decoration recipes.

Hello Cat,

The recipe mentions baking powder, but there is none mentioned in the recipe. I would guess it's only a couple tablespoons or less, but I'm not sure.

That's cool D: Whenever I make cupcakes they smell eggy and don't taste very nice, well It's nice but just not very very tasty o.o

By the way, did you use a large egg? My mum usually gets medium sized ones so I added another one and it was still dry so I added some more milk.
