Pretty enough to nom
So, at Christmas I was looking for something to wear for a family meal. I didn't suit anything currently in fashion but when I walked past a fabric stall at the market I fell totally in love with this cupcake print. Not very Christmassy, but I decided to make something from it. I was thinking a top.

Anyway, long story short, I found a beautiful dress pattern online, made the skirt a bit shorter (I only had a metre of fabric) and added a plain pink back and voila! Wear it with an underskirt if you're going to cut it this short however.

Be warned, the pattern is deceptive. It seems simple but if you're a really new sewer then maybe work up to it. Or if you're a skinny mini go for it, cos the hard part for me was lengthening the bodice and extending the back to fit!

I've only seen it since on Ebay. All the fabric round here seems to be the same too now. Although I guess it gets better round the major holidays. There's loads of Halloweeny stuff at the mo which is cool Happy
