This was cheap, and easy!
I made up the pattern to this sweater as I went along, I used only tripple crochets, and over all it cost me $5. GREAT investment, :)

  • Step 1

I am a size small to a medium Teen and it fits me.

    ch. 33

1 rw. Do triple crochet in third ch. From hook. Complete rw with triple crochets. ch. 3, turn.

  • Step 2

2 rw. Next you half to increase, do ONE triple crochet in first st. ONO triple cr. In second st. TWO triple cr. In third st. ONE triple Cr. In fourth st. ONE triple cr. In fith st. TWO triple crochet in sixth st, and so on until you have finished the rw. ch. 3, turn.

  • Step 3

3 rw. Do ONE triple cr. In each st. ch 3, turn.

  • Step 4

4 rw. Do ONE triple cr. in the first TWO st. ch 25, do a triple cr. Into 16th st from hook. Do 26 triple cr. THEN ch. 25, do a triple cr. Into 16th st. from hook, finish rw with triple cr. Tie off.

  • Step 5

SLEEVES: Tie your yarn onto one out of the two sleeve wholes (the ch. 25) Ch. 3 and do triple cr. In all of the st. When you come back to your ch. 3 do two triple cr. Into the ch. 3. Then do triple cr. For 15 rws. OR until desired length. Mine comes to about my elbow. You can make yours whatever length.

  • Step 6

    Repeat SLEEVE for second sleeve.

  • Step 7

FOR “V” NECK: FLIP YOUR SWEATER OVER. You will be working from the bottom up this time. Tie yarn to one of the bottom corners, (after you have flipped it over) Ch. 5, do ONE triple cr. In fourth ch. Form hook, then do TWO triple cr. In fifth ch. Sl st to side of sweater. ch. 3, sl st AGAIN to sweater, in FIRST st do TWO triple cr. In second st do ONE triple cr. In third st. do ONE triple cr. ch. 3, do ONE triple cr. Into first st. do ONE into second st. do ONE triple cr. Into third st. do TWO triple cr. In to fourth st. sl st to sweater. What you are doing is TWO triple cr. Into the st. closest to your sweater, increasing there will give your “V” neck a more rounded look, rather than a choppy one. Continue doing TWO triple cr. In the st closest to your sweater and one in all of the rest for 8 MORE rws. IF YOU HAVE TO you can to MORE rws if you need the chest area to be bigger.

  • Step 8

REPEAT for opposite side. Sl st the ends together to meet in the middle. TIE OFF.

  • Step 9

Tie yarn in back of your sweater, anywhere works. Ch. 3 do triple cr. In each st, when you come to sleeve, cr on the OPPOSITE side of ch. When you come back to ch. 3 do TWO triple cr. Into ch. 3 and continue to work around. For 18 rws. TIE OFF

  • Step 10

Once you are done the bottom part of your sweater, do triple cr. Around the top of your sweater, DOWN the “V” neck. TIE OFF

    DONE! :D

Ok, step 4 is kind of tricky. You are making the arm loop, so after you do 2 triple crochets, you have to ch. 25, and then count 16 stitches and do a triple crochet into that one, and then your really just repeating it on the other side, but it's opposite cause your working form the oppposite side. Sorry it took me so long to reply and if your trying just to read it it will be confusing but if you are actually at that step and doing exactly what I say, you should be able to understand it.

to Becks S., sry no How-to. I made the pattern up as I went so I don't actually have one. Happy lol I could give tips to people that want to make one, but I wouldn't be able to give the exact pattern. though, maybe I will turn it into a how-to. just maybe... ;)

I did this all in one peice. I started at the neck and went down. the only part where I had to tie off is on the sleeves, after it was long enough for me to start the sleeves I chained 10 and slipped stiched it to the sweater to make a loop, and crocheted on there for the sleeves and did the same for the other side. I want to see what you make too!

Thats awesome. I have yet to make something wearable. Did you have to sew it together or were you able to do it as one big piece?
