Gearing up for winter
I originally made this because a friend asked me to make her a hat. I like it so much I now don't want to give it away! I might have to make another.
I'm pretty much a beginner at crochet, (this is only my 2nd big completed project). I found this pattern pretty easy to follow and clear, although it did take quite a long time to do.

Its US I'm afraid, although its really easy to convert to UK as the bottom band is all double crochet and theres a good description for the puff stitch with a video.
