1. 

   I hope you know what this means:
   
   ch(s) – chain
   inc – increase one (2 stitches in same stitch)
   rnd(s) – round
   sc – single crochet
   st(s) – stitches

2. 

   

   
   
   Rnd 1: make 6 ch and join with first st.




3. 

   

   Rnd 2:Click to enlarge pic.
   
   If you got that,then do it for 12 times.
   
   If not,then just increase in each stitch until you have 12 st(it may not look as beautiful).

4. 

   

   Look at the edge of the hole.
   
   If you used first one method,then it should look like this. ;)
   
   And don't forget to put marker or safety pin at the beginning of new round.




5. 

   

   Rnd 3: 1sc in each st around.
   
   Should look like this.

6. 

   

   Rnd 4: inc each stitch around (makes 24 stitches).
   
   Should look like this now.
   
   Note: make sure that your crochet makes flat,round coaster.Don't let the edges go up!Make them flat.

7. 

   

   Rnd 5: try to follow pic.Just enlarge it.
   
   But maybe you understand like this:
   2ch,skip 1 st,then 1ch in next st (after one you skip).Repeat.

8. 

   

   Enlarge pic to see better.
   
   You may not see the little holes from last step until you follow next step!
   
   Also your coaster now should look like this.

9. 

   

   Rnd 6: Do almost everything like in step 3.
   
   1.Single crochet trough holes 2 times (because you made hole with 2 ch).
   2.Then 1sc in next sc.Ok,follow pic.

10. 

    

    Your coaster now should look like this.

11. 

    

    Rnd 7: Do everything like in step 7,just make 4 ch instead of 2 ch.

12. 

    

    It should look like this.

13. 

    

    Rnd 8: Do everything like in step 9.
    
    Just use single crochet trough holes 4 times (because there was 4ch).

14. 

    

    Now your coaster should look like one of these.It looks flower-like.
