I followed pretty much whatever Eremira has done...except I used 3 ribbons to give it more colour. (+ the braid gives the belt more strength than just 1 ribbon.)Also, I would suggest you use silk threads instead of the wool I used, since it would give the belt more shine.
My first project, (first time crocheter)...so it took me around 4 hrs to do it. Yet, somehow pretty easy to do.
