  1. Step 1

    Ch 90 with White or whatever color you like

  2. Step 2

    Row 1 (right side): Sc in 2nd chain from hook and in each ch across; turn- 89 sts. Begin pat:


  3. Step 3

    Row 2: Ch 1, sc in first sc, * ch 1, skip next sc, sc in next sc; rep from * Across; turn

  4. Step 4

    Row 3: Ch1, sc in first sc, sc in ch-1 sp, * ch 1, skip next sc, sc in next ch-1 sp; rep from * to last sc; sc in last sc; turn


  5. Step 5

    Row 4; Ch 1, sc in first sc, * ch 1, skip next sc, sc in next ch-1 sp; rep from * to last 2 sts; ch 1, skip next sc, sc in last sc; turn.

  6. Step 6

    Rep Rows 3 and 4 for pat until 36" from beg, end wrong side row.

  7. Step 7

    Edging: Ch1, sc in each sc and ch-1 sp across and work 3 sc in last sc, sc evenly down long edge of blanket. Fasten off. Attach white at lower right corner; ch 1, sc evenly up rem long edge and work 2 sc in same st as first sc, join with a sl st to first sc. fasten off

  8. Step 8

    Finishing border: With right side facing and smaller hook attach green and work 1 rnd sc, working 3 sc in corners; join; TURN. Work 1 more rnd sc, inc at corners as before. Fasten off. With wrong side facing and smaller hook attach pink; * ch 3, skip 1 sc, sl st in next sc;* around. Fasten off.

  9. Step 9

    Flowers (make 8): With larger hook and pink, ch 3; join with a sl st in first ch to form a ring.
    Rnd 1; Ch 1, 10 sc in ring; join join with a sl st in first sc.
    Rnd 2: [ Ch 3, sl st in next 2 sc] 5 times.
    Rnd 3: Ch 1, [(sc, hdc,dc,hdc,sc) all in ch-3 sp] 5 times join in first sc. Fasten off.

  10. Step 10

    Leaves (make 14): With larger hook and green ch 6; sl st in 2nd ch from hook, sc in next ch, dc in next ch, sc in next ch, st st in last ch. Fasten off.

  11. Step 11

    Sew on flowers and leaves.
