I was in a really crafty mood today, finished the birthday presents for my Mom (posting them later with a how-to) and made this amazing board i wanted to do all the time. I took a canvas that i got for cheap last year, some padding and my beloved Ikea paisley velvet (that is difficult to capture in a pic i have to say!), grosgrain ribbon and stapled it to the wooden frame of the canvas. i didn´t find any screws or nails (but two hammers and a drilling machine...) so i just put it on our kitchen table, leaning against the wall, looks nice too! I think the brown of the fabric goes really well with the table and the wall colour :D
