Crazy Postcard Notebook

  • Completed Project: Crazy Postcard Notebook Picture #1

But honey, I DID get rid of the junk mail!

Here is a great way to get rid of all those unwanted postcards from your crazy relatives whose vacations make you want to scream- or you could preserve that memory of Paris forever- in the form of a notebook!

This is also a great way to get rid of any unwanted paper scraps!

  1. Step 0

    Step 0

Take the postcard that you want and all of those paper scraps you have lying around. You don't want too much paper otherwise your stapler won't be able to handle it.

You'll also need scissors and a stapler.

  2. Step 1

    Step 1

Cut your paper scraps so that they are relatively close in length and would fit inside the height of the postcard.

    (Differing lengths can be fun)

  3. Step 2

    Step 2

Stack your paper how you want it to be layered.

  4. Step 3

    Step 3

Fold your postcard and your stack of papers in half along the width.

  5. Step 4

    Step 4

Place your papers inside of the postcard.

  6. Step 5

    Step 5

    Staple together.

  7. Step 6

    Step 6

    ALL DONE!!!

  8. Step 7

    Step 7

(If it's a new card, you can add a "return to:" in the back above the address lines.)

Yeah, I've heard of people doing that. I'm sure it looks much nicer, but I'm too lazy to do something that fancy! But you should definitely post a version if you try it! (Or already have)
