Crayon costume

My mom made me one when I was a kid. So I made my kids one.

I said a hour but that was with messing up and restarting.

the coloring is the longest.

  1. Step 1

    Step 1

    Measure around the widest part of torso (hips kids/ bust adult)

    measure length (top of shoulders to just above knees) longer if not trickor treating (climbing stairs)

  2. Step 2

    Step 2

    cut felt to 1" larger then your measurment.

    Sew along long side dotted lines

    You should have a tube.


  3. Step 3

    cut out the purple areas

    head and armholes

  4. Step 4

    Step 4

    now go grab a crayon and use the wraper as your guide

    with a sharpie draw what you see just really big.


  5. Step 5

    Step 5

    now the hat

    buy a witch hat

    cone felt

    slip it on witch hat and safty pin on inside.
