    Gather your supplies. Everythign I used is shown here.

    Use the pattern in the covered button kit to cut circles out of your fabric scraps.

    Use the mold in the kit to cover the buttons according to the package directions.

    Remove shanks from the buttons using needle-nose pliers.

    Step 5

    Use Gorilla Glue (or any other metal glue) to attach the button to the pad on the bobby pin.

    Wait 30 minutes until the glue dries, and you're all done!
