Step 1Gather your supplies. Everythign I used is shown here.

Step 2Use the pattern in the covered button kit to cut circles out of your fabric scraps.

Step 3Use the mold in the kit to cover the buttons according to the package directions.

Step 4Remove shanks from the buttons using needle-nose pliers.

Step 5Use Gorilla Glue (or any other metal glue) to attach the button to the pad on the bobby pin.

Step 6Wait 30 minutes until the glue dries, and you're all done!
