I took my solid colored fabric and cut out the pieces for my tank top. Then took the striped fabric and cut out pieces for the middle of the front and back of the top. I sewed all my pieces together then sewed ribbon on top of were the solid and the striped fabric come together. Then added eyelets all the way sown the ribbon. I uses the left over scraps to lace thru the eyelets. I used left over scraps for my straps.
