You will need

½ cup Dark Chocolate Chips 2 cup Dry Roasted Almonds ½ tsp Coarse Sea Salt 3 tsp Unsweetened Cocoa Powder 1 tbsp Turbinado Sugar or sugar in the raw

Make the Trader Joe's Sea Salt & Turbinado Sugar Dark Chocolate Almonds at home for a cheaper option and one that you'll want to make over and over again.

Instructions

1. Add chocolate chips to a double boiler and stir until melted completely. OR microwave the chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl in 30 second intervals, stirring in between intervals, until completely melted.

2. Remove melted chocolate from the heat and add almonds, stirring until they are completely coated.

3. Sprinkle sea salt over almonds and toss to incorporate. Add sugar and toss again.

4. Spread the nuts onto a cookie sheet lined with wax or parchment paper and place in the fridge for about 20 minutes to set.

5. Remove from the fridge and add nuts to a large bowl. Break them up with your hands or a spoon of they are clumped together. Sprinkle with cocoa powder and toss to coat completely.
