Bedazzled makeup brush

HI! Humans thanks for checking out my project. I hope you like it I've been wanting to do this for a while, it's an original idea I thought up on my own.I always wanted to buy a bedazzled brush set with crystals and glitter I never found one I could buy so, I decided to create my own cool fancy brush! I used an $1 elf foundation brush to do this project and i'm going to make a complete brush set. I hope you all get inspired by this and make your own cool brushes and come up with some cooler ones than this so thanks for your precious time ENJOY Lovelies.

Instructions

  1. 1

For this project I used an ordinary white foundation brush(an e.l.f. brush $1 from the grocery store)

  2. 2

I wrapped tape around the silver (neck) part of the brush and scraped the white paint off the handle of the brush with sandpaper.

  3. 3

Then painted the handle of the brush with acrylic paint in Turquoise,I used about 2 coats.

  4. 4

Once the color dried, I used ultra fine sandpaper to smooth out lumps and lines from brush strokes.

    (Optional)

  5. 5

After sanding I applied Extreme Glitter Acrylic Paint in turquoise
2790. (You can apply many coats as you want I DID!!! ^_^)Once it dried I applied a acrylic spray glaze as a finish which adds a really professional look and feel to it.

  6. 6

After drying I removed the tape from the silver(neck) part of the brush.

then started gluing the crystals one by one half way up on the silver(neck)part of the brush.then I got the Idea to put silver glitter on the rest of the way up to the top of the silver(neck)part.

and lastly I added a bit of gloss to only the silver glitter part to keep the glitter from falling from the brush and it worked. END
