origami roses that will bring a smile to your face!
I really wanted to make a rose one day and I found this awesome, simple origami tutorial http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bqpBJvTeRFs.
After getting the hang of it and using up all of my scrap paper, I decided to look for some more paper that would be cool as a rose. So I decided to use the comic section of an old newspaper that I had lying around. I have to say, it is harder to get the petals to curl because of the way that newspaper is and I had to do each several times. But it was worth it!
