A fun case that lets you see again!
 <  Image 1 of 2  >

This makes a great gift if anyone you know could always use a case for those glasses or is a comic lover in general!

My second time decoupaging this case...before it was all clips of poetry... but I felt it was time to switch it up!

  1. Step 1

    Step 1

    Gather up what you'll need.

  2. Step 1

    Step 1

Clip your comics out, whether from the Sunday Funnies or out of a comic book, or even another location.

  3. Step 2

    Step 2

Start the edges...by applying a thin coat of Mod Podge the length of your comic panel. Lightly press down.

  4. Step 3

    Step 3

Lay it flat around the curves and corners of your case. You can press down and apply Mod Podge in the area(s) where it creases and folds down. Or trim it up, as demonstrated in the next step.

  5. Step 4

    Step 4

Or around the curves and corners of your case, you could trim it up and cut off the excess carefully.

  6. Step 5

    Step 5

One direction your paper should go, as seen in the picture, you could even do something funky and do mismatched directions.

  7. Step 6

    Step 6

Layer up! Apply a few more layers of comic panels or parts, with out over layering it or excessively putting layers of paper on.

  8. Step 7

    Step 7

    Let it dry.

  9. Step 8

    Step 8

Patch up any areas where you may have missed bits and pieces with smaller pieces of comics and Mod Podge.

  10. Step 9

    Step 9

One final coat of Mod Podge to seal everything in. Allow to dry again.

  11. Step 10

    Step 10

Trim any edges that have excessive paper or bits that could interfere with the case in general.

  12. Step 11

    Step 11

Glasses now can go into the case!

  13. Step 12

    Step 12

Enjoy it! And remember... Have fun crafting! (:
