I had a "Ikea" metal table with drawers that I used like a bedside table.
I bought vintage comic of Super girl in the "Rastro"(fly market in Madrid).
With special glue for paper and water wallpapered the bedside table with the comic.
When the bedside table was dry varnish it with glaze.
(sorry for my bad English)

You did a great job ^_^, it's too bad the picture on the other side of the page shows. I did the same with one of my projects (a tray) but my technique is different than yours.

I have some geeky friends that would positively cry at the cutting+glue of a vintage comic *grins* I LOVE IT... that's fantastic. :)

does it work on wood?

in wood is more easy than metal, because the glue sticks better on wood because it is a porous surface, but I work it in metal.
