Magazine beaded cup for pencils, flowers, or just about anything!

This unique (and cheap) cup is very universal. It is slightly vintage and very recycled looking. Thats what I was going for though :)

Instructions

  1. Step 1 1

Gather supplies together and poor about 1 tsp. of glue into a small cup with the same amount of water. Stir it up with the paint brush.

  2. Step 2 2

Find very colorful pages in your magazine.

  3. Step 3 3

Cut them into this shape. Make sure to make them different sizes and colors.

  4. Step 4 4

Start to wrap them around the skewer (or whatever you are using) and put a SMALL amount of glue on the pointed end.

  5. Step 5 5

When it is wrapped all the way around the skewer, there will be glue squished on the outside, rub that into the outside of the bead before taking it off the skewer.

  6. Step 6 6

    Let them dry.

  7. Step 7 7

While your beads are drying, cut the bottom off of a water bottle.

  8. Step 8 8

Start hot glue gunning the beads onto the outside of the plastic bottle.

  9. Step 9 9

Your done : D! You now have a beautiful accent piece to you bedroom or dining room table.
