The tubing can be purchsed at any hardware store. You'll need a clear plastic tubing 3/8" or smaller and then some rigid 1/4" tubing (like the ice machine tubing) to seal both ends of the bracelet or necklace. The smaller tubing should fit snugly inside the larger tubing .
Measure the tubing around the wrist and then cut with scissors. Cut a 1 inch length of the thinner tubing and insert it in the end of the larger tubing. -
Mix some food color with water in plastic cups - as many as you like. Then using a syringe, load it with the colored water.

Fill the bracelet tubing carefully until it is filled with the liquid. Next, join the two ends and push them together to close the bracelet.

You can also add glitter and make the pieces sparkle.

The finished product can be modeled by your favorite pal !

As long as the two pieces of tubing are really snug, it will be waterproof. It takes some coaxing, but you have to really push on the ends to get them to come together over the smaller diameter tubing. So, make sure to measure the two pieces to make sure that the smaller diameter one (used for ice makers) is just slightly smaller than the soft clear tubing that you buy for the bracelet part. The hardware store has a great variety of sizes.
If you wanted to seal it, you can use a hot glue gun (with no glue) and just touch the tip to the area where the ends come together, or a soldering iron or wood burning tool. This will slightly melt the plastic together so that it doesn't separate...

you know what would be cool? if you get some of those glow in the dark liquid stuff from the glow in the dark bracelets and put it in there with glitters and other stuff. preeeeetty!!!

That's a great idea, and if you use a highlighter, take it apart and soak the insert in water, put it in the bracelet, it will glow under black light !
