Hot coffee....mmmm.
 <  Image 1 of 4  >

I made this for my lifelong bff for Christmas. She loves the caramel macchiatos from Starbucks, and gets them every morning :)

  1. Step 1

    Step 1

Get a cardboard coffee sleeve from a coffee place to use as a pattern.
Open it up (making sure to take it apart where it is sealed) and trace it onto your dark brown felt twice, then cut it out.

  2. Step 2

    Step 2

Use a compas to make the circles on the felt (Dark Green, White, Black). Make the dark green circle to fit onto your cozie, then make the center black circle, then the white slightly larger than that.

  3. Step 3

    Step 3

Find which side looks the best to use, and then embroider your favorite coffee creation, or personalize as you wish.

  4. Step 4

    Step 4

Lightly glue the pieces of the logo together, then stitch together for extra security. Glue to brown felt cozie, then stitch.

  5. Step 5

    Step 5

Using the logo as a guide, sketch out the woman on the black center circle, then go over with the white puffy paint. (You may need to go over with some black acrylic paint if you made any mistakes, like i did). I drew on the face with a fine point sharpie, because it was so small. Let dry.

  6. Step 6

    Step 6

Sketch out the words on the green felt circle, then go over with the white puffy paint. Let dry.

  7. Step 7

    Step 7

Sew on the star buttons on either side of the green felt circle, according to the logo.

  8. Step 8

Once you are completely done, then sew the 2 pieces of brown felt together. You will have a double thickness of felt to cover the inside stitching, and for extra coffee warmth.
Sew up the back according to where the original sleeve was glued; there will be a small overlap.

Put on your 'to-go' coffee cup & enjoy!
