Step 1Pick out the paper you want to be the background of your board.

Take clipboard and trace on scrapbook paper.

Step 3
Cut out traced area.

Step 4
Mark where the clip is and cut out a spot at the top of your paper for it.

Step 5
Take your glue stick or preferred glue and cover clipboard.

Step 6
Place paper on board and smooth out any imperfections

Step 7
Let dry then in desired pattern wrap rubber bands around the board. And you're done! Hang and enjoy!

This is a wonderful alternative. I always found that it was pretty expensive to get a proper corkboard to put up but I found one at a garage sale for 50 cents... I still really love this idea though and think I will put a couple up beside my corkboard on my wall. At the moment I am starting to organize and put stuff together in my craft room and this would be a fun way to put a little something different up. I will post a pic on here when I am done. Just need to pick up the boards
