Frayed circular scarf
North Carolina has really odd weather. One day it's hot, the next day you're freezing your skin off so scarves are really popular.

This is a new way to make your scarf stand out and it's also really cute :)

    I know this shirt is dingy and hole abundant. But it's my stepdad's and I have already gone through a lot of clothes :/

    But anyway, once you have your shirt lay it out flat.

    You can use any kind of shirt, personally, I think a sweater or thicker shirt would work a lot nicer.

    Right under the arm's draw a line seperating the body and the arms.

    And cut

    Every other centimeter draw a line, this is where you're going to cut across the shirt.

    Do it on both sides

    Place pins on one of the sides that you marked up. The pins should be horizontal on the vertical side of the shirt. Leave some space between the edge of the shirt and the pin because you DO NOT cut past this pin.

    You want to cut strips but leave the ends connected. Cut the strips on the cent. marks up the pins

    It should look just like this after you've cut all the strips

    Take a ribbon and slide it through all the strips at the edge that doesn't have the pins.

    Then tie the ribbon tight around those edges

    It's fun to twist the strips around to add volume and make it look playful.

    You just put it over your head and then wrap it around again :)
