A great alternative if you're short on space!
This is what happens when you are limited on garden space and have some cinder blocks kicking around. A little bit of brainstorming and heavy lifting and you have yourself a vertical herb garden!

Step 1We essentially played a game of real life Tetris until we found a configuration that was both sturdy and aesthetically pleasing.

Step 2Once we found what we liked, I planted our herbs in plastic containers that we had leftover from some shrubs we had purchased and dropped them in the openings around the configuration.

Step 3It really doesn't get any easier than that!
