My Mum has been making crazy Christmas trees for about 6 or so years and this is my first Christmas in my own house so I had to do my own Christmas tree and decorations! I have stolen some of my Mums ideas but done my own interpretation. It is a 2D representation of a tree made from 3 tree branches I collected from nearby my house which I spray painted silver then strung together to create three tiers with silver gift ribbon and gold cord. I then made a long garland from recycled wrapping paper, a few other paper silhouette decorations and some streamers, all made from recycled wrapping paper and then I made some figurines using clothes pegs and felt. The snow men and soldiers were really annoying and I couldn't get them to work as well as I wanted but the elves worked brilliantly and are sooo cute! This was really cheap to make and looks really effective- would look great with fairy lights on it too!
