I was inspired to make these after seeing a woman in a choir wearing something similar.
1
Get out all your materials and a magazine to read doesn't hurt either ;)
2
Clockwise from top: Clamp pliers, round nose pliers and wire cutters.
3
Using the round nose pliers make a small loop at the top of the piece of wire.
4
Stack the beads onto the wire in the following order(Click to enlarge), starting from the small yellow bead. If you prefer you can make all of the diamond-shaped beads slightly smaller in size. I would have done that myself but unfortunately my bead shop only did those beads in 2 sizes(the bottom two diamond beads are 6mm each and the top 2 are 4mm each).
5
Using the round nose(or clamp) pliers make a loop at the bottom.
6
Squeeze the loop using the clamp pliers in order to make it smaller and less visible. Snip off any excess wire using the wire cutters.
7
Open up the loop at the end of the earring hook using the clamp pliers.
8
Slip the rest of the earring onto the loop and close it back up! Make sure you make yourself a pair for Christmas day!
