Christmas Scene Cake

Christmas wonderland sleigh scene cake
The base is chocolate chip sponge covered in white icing (snow). It is decorated with sweets to set the scene. I used chocolate buttons for the pathway. Rocky road block pieces with a candy cane on either side to create the sleigh. I created a snowman with white covered chocolates stuck together with icing and with little detail of chocolate drops.
Then added gold and sprinkles for a fairy tale like magic. To finish I just added some chocolate characters. It could be changed to a Santa and reindeers for a more of a centre piece type cake.
This was a bit of fun for the kids!
