Normally I wouldn’t DIY a necklace that could be purchased for less than $20, but I already had all of the materials and it only took a few minutes.

Remember the nail polish ‘enamel’ necklace? This is the same idea except that I cut the chevron shape out of sheet metal using tin snips. Before painting on the nail polish I punch a hole in each end with a screw punch.

I gave it a couple coats of nail polish and let it dry before using jump rings to attach a brass chain.

Since it was so easy I made two- the other necklace has slightly smaller chevron and is painted cream.
