Sometimes I like to have really light coloured or white nails, but I like to add a little fun into it with chevron and glitter. Sorry for the not so pretty pictures, my only chance was to use flash.
First, paint your nails with the base colour. Also, you can put on a base coat, but I usually don't bother with that.
When it's all dry, cut out some zigzag template carefully with your scissors. You will need a few, because when they have too many polish on them, you won't be able to use them. Stick them on your nails and paint alongside.
Do this twice on every nail, or mix it up a little, with glitter, or whatever you like.
Add a clear top coat, and you're done!
