  1. Step 1

First, Get 2 little empty Matchboxes. You'll want the actual box rather than the lid. stick them together using sticky tape, and once they are secure, start your computer up.

  2. Step 2

On the Internet, find a "brick" pattern. Here's one: http://www.julielenzerkirk.com/graphics/brick_wall.jpg Print it. Cut the pattern up and glue strips of it to all the sides of your 2 matchboxes so they are covered in brick.

  3. Step 3

Next, cut a square of grey paper and stick it to the front of the brick matchboxes. On the Internet, type in "fire" Here's one if you can't find one: http://www.freefoto.com/images/11/27/11_27_9---Flames_web.jpg
Shrink it on Microsoft Word, and then print.

  4. Step 4

Cut a bit of the flames out, and stick it to the grey square. It should really look like a fireplace now.

  5. Step 5

If you want to make a Christmas Fireplace, Cut tiny stocking out from felt and stick to the top of the fireplace. Attach it to a wall in your Dolls house and let your dollies warm up by the fire.
