Add to Favorites Add Your Version

  1. Step 1

Heat an altoids tin on a stove burner for a few minutes. The tin should go black and the logo will eventually be burned off.

  2. Step 2

Let the tin has cool down (running it under a tap will cool it instantly).

  3. Step 3

Cut shapes out of the front part on the tin. Stars and hearts are good shapes to use. You can decorate this by stringing wire between the shape and putting little beads on to the wire.

  4. Step 4

    Step 4

Decorate the inside with special things. Use gems, dried flowers or anything that means something special. Write a little letter or stick photos in it. The perfect way to keep all those memories in one place.

Just tin cutters but you could use some heavy duty scissors.
