Time
5 mins

Possibly hours and hours of fun!
I found a Spongebob thing like this and HAD to figure out how to make it, and so I did... and then proceeded to make many because I thought they were so much fun.

  • How to make a toy. Changing Pictures - Step 1
    Step 1

You take both your square pieces and fold them in half.

  • How to make a toy. Changing Pictures - Step 2
    Step 2

And then you unfold them and fold in the sides into the centre.

  • How to make a toy. Changing Pictures - Step 3
    Step 3

You fold them the same way again the other way and then cut them in half.
Now you have four rectangular pieces divided in four by folds.

  • How to make a toy. Changing Pictures - Step 4
    Step 4

    (this image sucks, sorry)
You then place two pieces vertically side by side. Put glue on the four outside corners (so not where the two pieces touch each other in the middle).
take the two other pieces and place them horizontally on top of the vertical strips and glue their corners together.

  • Step 5

Glue on or draw or whatever your images and you're done. To change pictures you open out from the middle.
I hope this made sense. If it didn't, or if you have any questions then feel free to message me.

Yah, you get four pictures in total. It kind of ends up folding out on it's own. It's kind of hard to explain.

Double check that you only glued the outside corners together. Also, the first opening it might get wonky because the folds aren't yet defined. You should be able to figure out how it's supposed to open by carefully pulling up the two flaps from the middle....
umm... I don't know... I hope that was helpful.
