chain necklace tutorial
I found this awesome leather chain necklace tutorial,but i have no leather.So I replaced it with cardboard.
I had these fabric strips covered with cardboard.It was some kind of game acessorie when I was a kid and i was saving it for some crafts.

Gather the things you will need.

Cut the 8 shape from paper.

Draw it over on the piece of leather,cardboard,fabric...what ever you use.
Cut the pieces out.The number of these 8 shapes depend on how long you want your necklace to be. -

Fold one 8 shape in half and pull another one through it.

Fold that 8 shape in half and pull another on through it.keep doing the same until your necklace is long enough.

Use a safety pin or key chain to close.
