Ceramic Plate

Personalized Wedding Gift
I created this out of a ceramic bisque plate. First I drew the design on with pencil, painted it and gave it crisp edges with a paint pen. Finally I varnished the plate to protect the painting. I included an easel so they could display the plate.

I personalized it by giving the cartoons characteristics of the recipients and added the bride's new last name and date of marriage.

The 2nd picture show how I gift wrapped the plate. I made flowers from felt and fabric and kept it all in the same bright theme as the plate.
