I found this gem over at and it is a wonderful play accessory for Barbie or GI Joe!

  1. Step 1

    Lay the CD on the piece of brown felt, draw around it and cut it out.

  2. Step 2

    Step 2

    Use craft glue and smear it on the CD then glue the piece of felt on top of it.


  3. Step 3

    Step 3

    Glue the stones around the edge of the CD on top of the felt (I started out using craft glue and switched to hot glue from a glue gun)

  4. Step 4

    Step 4

    Place sticks on in the center in sort of teepee style gluing them down with the hot glue gun as you go.


  5. Step 5

    Step 5

    Tear the tissue paper into 1-2 inch squares.

  6. Step 6

    Step 6

    Put the toothpick in the center of a piece of tissue paper and twist it around the toothpick.

  7. Step 7

    Step 7

    Dip the end in a bit of craft glue and insert it into the sticks and continue until the fire looks how you want it to.

This is so cute! I think that it would be cool if you found a small lightbulb to put inside and attached it to a battery! Then it would be a cool lamp and a barbie accessory.

What a great idea!

The next time I make one of these I will get one of those battery operated tea lights to stick through the center.
