  • How to make a cushion. Cat Microwave Beanbag - Step 1
    Step 1

Use newspaper/scrap paper to cut out a template of the shape you want your beanbag to be. I made it a half circle to fit around neck and shoulders.
I made this one as a gift for my aunt who has 2 cats so I made each side the colour of each cat.
To make it more simple you could just do 1 colour or do one side the head and the other side a tail

    Step 2

Use the template you made to trace the shape onto your material.I used a fleece.
    Remember to add about 1,5cm.
Mine was a bit tricky since I did 2 different cats.

    Step 3

If you were just doing 1 cat, you would have one half circle for the top, and 2 halves of a half circle for the bottom(because you need to be able to slip the actual beanbag in and out

    Step 4

Cut out and sew on your bits and pieces for the faces (eyes, nose, ears)

    Step 5

Get your mom to sew the pieces together :P

    Step 6

Turn them the right way round

  • Step 7

I don't have a picture for this but I made an inner half circle sausage shape with the beans in it.
This is the piece you would take out and put in the microwave so make sure the material you use can go in a microwave.

    Step 8

    Get your cats approval :)
