how to a keyring car made of meds wrappings or, just a very green crafty car:-)
My md was leaving his old job for a new one.
I liked him very much , and had to laught a lot of him,
One day i had an appointment with an other persone at his place. We were talking of a subject and suddenly he was coming in to ask if his key were laying there.
I reconized this too well, so i had to laught, he asked suddenly Jet did you have hide them?
No i answered him but with a very big smile. still laughting.
So he asked me again.I knew that it was just my laughting that made him wondering.LOL
It made him just a normal persone for me.;-D
I wanted to make a goodbye gift for him and something with a keyring because of this story.
so i thought i must make it of just medican wrapping wich i got of him in a car for his working place.
He loved this gift very much and had to laught of the story behind it and that it was made of his prescribtion meds.LOL (Like concerta and ritalin.;-D)

so i thought perhaps you like this too.
and thought i will make a tute of it. But because i forgot to take pictures i had to made a new one.
but.... i was forgotten to finishing this so after two years i found the project agian and finely i finished it.LOL

notes;
Don't be fraitend, i made all those steps to make it just easier to follow, it's less complicated!!!!
time is without drying time.
Read first the steps i have found out that you must make the back bumper much lower for fixing the spare tyre more on the right place between the bumber and the back window/door.t
this didn't costed me anything because i used all scraps and recyling materials.

Step 1
collecting your materials.
Step 2
Cut the neck piece of the plastic med bottle with the hacksaw.
See picture. Do the same with the other plastic med bottle.
You needs two of them.
Step 3
Making the wheels:
Take the lids of this kind of meds wrapping.
And follow the steps of the picture.
So you will got something like no 3.
Step 4
Cut in the middle of one of the plastic bottles with the hacksaw.
Step 5
You have now three parts like this.
Step 6
Pick up the wheels and with a marker you must unline the place where they must come in the bottles.
Step 7
make holes on the marks for the wheels in the bottles and push the lids("wheels") in place.
Step 8
Push the bottles in place like i did , watch the pict.
You will become something like this.
Step 9
glue the parts with duct tape together.
Step 10
making the roof:
take a medicijn carton box.
and draw like i did lines on it.
So half in the middle you must draw on both sides on the small sides a L line
And less the same on the other side of the small sides of the box.
watch the picture.

(the the straight L line is the folding line.)
Step 11
cut the lines in with your scissors
only the outside lines not the middle one of the L that's just a folding line.
so on both sides you become something like this.
Step 12
for the back first fold the strips inside and cut of the some bite so they will overlap each other a bit.
Tape them down.
and fold the wide flap over them.
Step 13
Cut of the for small flaps in a diagonaal line like a triangle.
And glue the large wide flap with tape down.

Now you're done with the roof part of your car to be;-D
Step 14
Tape the roof on the top of your bottle shape.
Watch the picture.
Tape the long wide lose roomy down the bottem.
Step 15

Making the bonnet:
Take again some carton wrapping and cut it out like this.
Step 17
Tape this shape like this.
Step 18
tape this part on the front of your car like a real bonnet;-D
Step 19
Making the bumpers:
Cut out of your carton boxs this kind of shapes.
and make a folding line in the middle with a paperknife
Step 20
Cut small strips like these of your carton boxes to make the outside lines on the sides of your car.
Step 21
tape those strips with paper tape on the sides of your care
First do the strips round the wheels. Like i did on the picture.;-D

tape those strips with paper tape on the sides of your care

So you becoming something like this.

connect on the front the bumber and fold the rest of the bumpers to the side of the car and tape this together with the paper tape.
Connect as well t he back bumber on the back .
Step 25
Tape the whole shape with paper tape.
Step 26
Glue on the front a paperclip with your hot glue gun and glue with wood glue on top a small piece of fabric.
Let it dry.
Now give the whole shape a layer of thick wood glue. Let i dry.
And do this again, so you will become a hard smoothly layer on your care.
Step 27
Making the roof window:
Pick up the part you have cut off of your bottles make it smaller and cut out on the top a window shape.

because i didn't know by the seccond one how i did it the first time i found out that the back window was too nearly so i had to cut one of those windows in two pieces like i showing you on the picture.
Step 29
The glass windows:
cut out a plastic clear bottle the shape of your window .
Because it's not flat it gave the perfect look for those windows on the front the top window roof and the back window.
Step 30
so you have something like this in the end.
Step 31
cut windows shapes out of tin foil.
For the front and the roof
Glue it down with glue.
Step 32
Glue the front screen on the tin foil and glue it some more down with small paper tapes.
Do the same with the roof part on the roof.
Step 33
Cut out the tin foil the shapes of your side windows.
Step 34
Glue them down.
And make the same shapes out of some wrap flat plastic scraps
Connect the screens on the sides with the small stips of paper tape.
Step 35
Connect on the same way the last back window, like you did with the roof window.
But first glue the plastic screens inside the window shape of plastic.
Step 36
Now the fun part
the painting. first gave the car a nice colour.
Gave the windows and the bumbers an other colour.
Step 37
Give the capes of the wheels and the bottom of t he car an other colour of paint.
Step 38
paint the wheels black
and with 3d paint you mark the outline edges and do the same with the outside lines of the windows.
Step 39
glue a whasher size 10mm on all the wheels.
(the clear gell glue)
Step 40
Make the innerparts blank of the wheels , it's easy to do with your nails or a stick.
Step 41
glue the spare tyre on the back side of your car.
On the first car i had made the back side bumber much more on the bottom, so i could fixed the spare tyre in between the bumber and the backwindow now i had glued it under the bumber.-S
so... -S
i hope you have done this part better.LOL
Step 42
making the license plate:
Take the carton box and cut of the top of the lid where the name of the brand is standing.
Glue this with woodglue on the top side. Let it dry
then.... gave the sign with a permanent maker a nice colour.
Do this more times.
And give it a clear varnish layer or a layer with clear nailpolish
Step 43
Cut the plate out and give it a clear varnish layer or a layer with clear nailpolish.
Let it dry.
Step 44
Making the headlights:
In between glue the two washers of 8mm on the front of the bonnet.
Step 45
Take the female srews and glue on the top a fake rhinestone.
Step 46
Glue these parts on the middle of the washers on your bonnet.
Step 47
Glue some small rhinestones on the backside of your car, like the back lamps.
Add on the headlights and backside lights some lines of 3d.
I thought it was nice to use a other colour but later on i have change them in white ones.
Step 48
Glue at last the license plate on the bumber. and give the black parts of the wheels a nice layer of nailpolish.
add some 3d lines on the bumper parts as well.
add the hook on the hook on the paperclip a chain piece and the ring and such a ...bigger hook, don't know how they are called. and Yeaaaaaah!!!! your done.!!!!!!
You can use this for your self or give it away.
