Turn a big cardboard box into the Arc de Triomphe.
Kids will have lost of fun and they will also benefit from learning about Paris and one of its most famous monuments.
If you have the supplies already at home, this is virtually free!

    Cut the opening on both side of the box.

    Paint the box white or any other color of your choice but it should be a light one.

    Print out the Arc de Triomphe (http://madebyjoel.com/2011/08/paper-city-paris.html) and draw it on your box. If you feel confident you can do it directly with a permanent marker. I did it in a pencil first and then used a Sharpie, actually I needed 3 markers to finish up the job.
